I bought a cow

I don’t normally shill for charities, but I did buy a piece of a cow. I like the idea of giving a hand up, and not a hand out.

Apparently when a family is given a cow, they are obliged to give the first born calf to another family for free.

Heifer International works with communities to increase income, improve child nutrition, care for the Earth, and ultimately end world hunger and poverty.
