Nature or nurture – I choose nurture

Simon at clueforum.info has a post that discusses the “Jews are superior by birth” myth.

I contend that Jews, to survive, HAD to be really smart to survive in a hostile world.

I contend that Atlanticist-backed Hitler was manipulated (or ordered) to expel the Jews from Germany simply to destabilize Germany by removing its intellectuals and cultural leaders.

I contend its 95% nurture, and only 5% nature, that determines a human’s success in life.

Clearly, the Jews, who are no longer threatened, are lapsing into the great melting pot of society and losing their intellectual edge.

Tintin and Degrelle – the ironies of history

This was certainly one of my favorite comic books. What an interesting history to its author and where his stories originated from.

The Adventures of Tintin is one of the most popular comic book stories ever. Its author Hergé, the pen name of the Belgian artist Georges Remi, published the first story in 1929 and left the last unfinished at his death in 1983.

I have one Irish line in my family tree. I did not know that the Irish were slaves. All I know of is the (fake) Great Potato Famine Myth. ABC’s blog has the details.

But, are we talking about African slavery? King James II and Charles I also led a continued effort to enslave the Irish. Britain’s famed Oliver Cromwell furthered this practice of dehumanizing one’s next door neighbor.

The Irish slave trade began when James II sold 30,000 Irish prisoners as slaves to the New World. His Proclamation of 1625 required Irish political prisoners be sent overseas and sold to English settlers in the West Indies. By the mid 1600s, the Irish were the main slaves sold to Antigua and Montserrat. At that time, 70% of the total population of Montserrat were Irish slaves.
