I’m not sure it’s the sugar/HFCS. I tend to think the culprit is anti-energy polyunsaturated fats which stimulate the body to release free fatty acids into the bloodstream and so inhibit the burning of glucose for energy. Polyunsaturated fats are toxic to the body and I try to avoid them as much as I can.
